Gil Effron's book is an extremely important guide for any salesperson who feels a little stuck, a little disappointed in their sales growth. He takes us back to the basics - What does your typical sales transaction look like? - to remind you about the ways you became successful in the first place. Gil uses real world examples, not unrelatable, hyperbolic scenarios. It's an easy read, and maybe the best way to spend an hour or two of your time if your sales need a boost or you need to just feel more energized before going into your next sales opportunity.
I’ve read dozens of marketing books and dozens of books on selling. This is the first one that talks about the sales process and how to make it work more effectively and with greater success. I have applied the principles to my personal sales efforts and it really works. At one point I got stuck and called the author. He coached me on how to make my sales process even better. The book is great but his coaching is exceptional! I have recommended the book and Gil's 1 on 1 coaching to all of my friends and family!!!!
